2. Spend about 30 minutes working on the second revision of the Paul Revere memoir. (Spend NO MORE than 30 minutes!! This means you!! :-) This is the focus for your second revision:
- focus on just one event from his life
- do NOT begin by retelling events from his birth, etc - this makes it sound too much like a report
- relate the feelings that you imagine Paul Revere was feeling during the event you choose to focus on
- make readers care about Paul Revere
- tell the story that you would not find in a report or in a text book
